McCain and Friends Stoop Even Lower

Check this out, now filing false police reports is a campaign tactic!

Police: McCain volunteer changes ATM attack story

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh police say a McCain campaign volunteer who said she was held down by a black man who cut the letter "B" in her face has changed her story.

Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says investigators gave the 20-year-old woman a lie-detector test and are "looking at some inconsistencies" in her story.

The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car.

Police say bank surveillance footage doesn't show her at an ATM where she says she was attacked.

Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn't remember being cut. She now says she only discovered the wound later.

No arrests have been made.

Hope the first arrest they make is this little racist chick! What a load of bull. Wonder if she dreamed this up on her own after reading the Susan Smith story (remember she famously blamed a "black man" for her missing kids before admitting she'd killed them) or if someone in the campaign put her up to it in order to try to play the "Willie Horton" card at this late juncture but by calling the opposing candidate Willie Horton.

More than likely she's a garden variety nut. After all, her MySpace page said "Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her cloths off, but its better if you do." There are also extensive copies of the twitters she sent to her friends and the public during her "ordeal" (who twitters an attack?)

Oh, and what's wrong in the photo of the "victim"? Look at the B - it's backwards. What would Mr. Monk deduce? She did it herself while looking in a mirror. Put her in cuffs and let her meet some real criminals! (source)
